Between our shooting locations, we traveled some of the best roads in the country, blasting at speeds I dare not openly disclose, and, having now experienced the brutal acceleration in the Porsche 918 Spyder, I can undoubtedly say it is the most spectacular car on the road. It redefines one’s definition of the word “fast.”

While most of us in America were gathered around watching Superbowl 49 this past Sunday, Ian and Nakai-San had just completed building 2 RWB Porsche cars simultaneously in less than a week. It was on this Superbowl Sunday that the group from RWB Manila gathered for a group drive.

Over the past few years I've worked on a handful of projects eGarage. Focused as much on the car as they are on the story, they do a great job representing the motivation and momentum leading up to many unique car builds in the Automotive world today. In addition to covering various facets of car culture, they have some impressive machinery themselves, a stable which currently includes an RWB Porsche 993.

Our 2012 content was highlighted with museums, collectors, and manufacturers from Tacoma, Washington to Maranello, Italy.

The BMW 2002 was a car that changed the world. Not only did it save BMW in a crisis but it opened up a whole new world of having a sporty yet practical family car. When it came to buying my first car, my mind became set on one as soon as my good friend picked one up. I looked for a long time, I found the perfect one, bought it- the car had rust, a hole in the strut tower, leaking gas lines, broken lights but I didn't know any better. and when it got here I said to myself, "what did I just do?"

Although it is not open to the public, we encourage everyone who is connected to the Automotive industry in some way, to join the 100,000+ people who make the pilgrimage every year. As with most everything in Las Vegas, this show is bigger than anything else you've ever seen, taking up 3.2 million square feet in the Las Vegas Convention Center. It's staggeringly awesome but requires every last minute of 4 days to attempt to capture everything the show has to offer.

To make a long story short, honestly, words, articles and videos don't do these cars, and their raw beauty much justice. Frankly, the few videos circulating the web (while really good in production quality) don't do Nakai-San's workmanship much justice either. You have to see Nakai and his work in person. You have to touch the RWB Cars, feel their presence and get a sense of proportion, things that web photos and videos cannot truly translate.
